Bookbinding: Flat Back Case Binding

10am to 4pm

Create a flat back case binding that can be made from a sewn textblock, or from single sheets of paper. Participants will be led through folding, sewing, or simple perfect binding, to the specialized cover. The whole book will be made using simple tools so anyone can continue their bookbinding practice at home. 

All classes take place at Kerner Marbled Studio in Rockland, Maine. Not local? Stay in beautiful Rockland, Maine or the surrounding areas. Many options are available at a variety of costs; suggested list available on request.
