Practice the art of marbling: Marbling is the laying of paints onto a viscous surface to create a variety of patterns. Learn the basics of the historical context, prepping the materials, making carrageenan, alum application to various materials, and taking prints from a bath. We will cover multiple techniques, including stone and combed patterns.

All classes take place at Kerner Marbled Studio in Rockland, Maine. Not local? Stay in beautiful Rockland, Maine or the surrounding areas. Many options are available at a variety of costs; suggested list available on request.
